Michael Jackson’s birthday bash today!
The Spike Lee organised event will now take place in Prospect Park, big enough to squeeze in the ten thousand well wishers expected to attend despite the wet weather.
From noon to 5pm, expect Brooklyn borough president Marty Markowitz and the Rev. Al Sharpton, who delivered the memorable eulogy at the funeral over a month ago.
No prizes for guessing the soundtrack.
