Paperthin

An accomplished multimedia artist, Deborah Anderson (the daughter of legendary rock singer Jon Anderson), has never been afraid to defy traditional boundaries, as she immerses herself fully into music, fashion, art, photography - you name it, she’s done it, and this time around she has found a way to mix all of her passions into a single venture.

Deborah, who has collaborated with musicians like Telepopmusik and Zero 7, is releasing her debut solo album, Silence on May 12th, and last year, created a coffee table book to accompany the album. Inspired by the erotica of the 1920s and 30s and her own songwriting, Paperthin is a sensual and artistic blend of art, photography, and lyrics. No wonder the LA times hailed her as “a photographer whose distinctive sensuality is located somewhere between classic French erotica and Helmut Newton”.

Check out the rest of her work - including her second coffee table book, Room 23, which profiles celebrities such as Larry King, Minnie Driver, Elton John, and Cindy Crawford, in the environment of a single hotel room - here
